About Creative Rise Art
Hi, I’m Vicki.
Welcome to Creative Rise Art, a space where approachable art tutorials come together.
I believe art does not have to be complicated to be meaningful. Creativity grows through doing, experimenting, and allowing yourself to begin. My favorite quote by Margery Williams says it all.
"Everything that is REAL was imagined first"
My creative life started early with graphite drawings, colored pencils, clay, and handmade books. In my twenties, I ran a printing press, increasing my love for paper as a material. Later, I spent more than 25 years in corporate creative departments as a Graphic Marketing Manager and Print Buyer, designing packaging and building structured systems long before digital project management tools existed.
Creativity and organization have always worked together in my world.
After developing a severe allergy to metalsmithing chemicals and processes, I stepped away from chemical-based jewelry processes and returned to paper and earlier jewelry techniques. That shift reshaped everything.
Shop the Studio
Most of the pieces you see in my shop are created during my YouTube tutorials.
When you watch a paper jewelry tutorial, a momigami experiment, or an air-dry clay process, the finished pieces often become part of the Shop the Studio collection. This allows you to purchase original handmade jewelry and art directly from the creative process you see on screen.
You are not just buying a product.
You are buying a piece of the studio practice.
If you enjoy learning how art is made, I invite you to visit my Creative Rise Art YouTube channel, where I share step-by-step art tutorials, paper techniques, and jewelry processes designed especially for beginners and women starting or restarting their creative journey.
Watching supports the channel.
Shopping supports the studio.
Both keep the work growing.

In 2020, a fellow artist friend, Deborah Shapiro Art, and I launched Creative Rise as an online art festival to support artists impacted by canceled events. Now, it’s a platform where I share DIY projects and how-to guides designed to make creativity accessible to everyone. At times, I feature talented artists in our Featured Artist series, highlighting their journeys and providing ways for you to connect with and support their work.
